Students pursuing a baccalaureate degree or post baccalaureate study in any academic area are qualified to complete the requirements for certification.

Students are required to complete a 300 contact hour internship at a nonprofit organization in order to acquire professional experience.

This interdisciplinary certificate program prepares qualified students for positions of leadership and management with national and local nonprofit organizations in areas including, youth, adult and family service, education, justice, development; fundraising, culture and health.

Students enrolled in this program have an opportunity to receive a certificate after successfully completing a baccalaureate degree or as a post-baccalaureate student. The curriculum matches competencies considered important for success within the nonprofit sector and include coursework and an internship/practicum.
